September is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Awareness Month, and the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) is hosting the “Vascular Health Step Challenge.” They invite you as an individual or a team to “join the movement to get moving” and walk 60 miles in September to keep the 60,000 miles of blood vessels in your body healthy. This fundraising campaign will support exercise therapy for low-income patients and the Society for Vascular Surgery Foundation’s efforts to prevent and treat circulatory disease. Registrants will receive a Vascular Health Step Challenge T-shirt and their own fundraising page. There are also prizes for reaching your goals and for top fundraisers. Visit the fundraiser website to learn more and sign up.
