BMC2 collects data that helps inform quality improvements to PCI care and the State of Michigan performs at levels that outpace national averages. BMC2 hospitals have higher rates of aspirin, statins, and all recommended medications prescribed at discharge. We better document radiation use during procedures and use less radiation overall. We also perform fewer blood transfusions after PCI and have more referrals to cardiac rehab.

These achievements are highlighted in a brief video describing these performance measures and the impact they have on patients. The video is available on our website and our YouTube channel and will be posted on our social media channels. We invite you to view it and share it with your colleagues and patients to demonstrate the amazing results we achieve when our teams share what they have learned and grow together.
