The American Heart Association released a new AHA Scientific Statement to improve care for patients with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD.)

The statement, “Advancing PAD Quality of Care and Outcomes Through Patient-Reported Health Status Assessment,” outlines practical approaches for clinic- and hospital-based strategies to integrate patient-reported health assessments.  You can also find it on our website’s “External Resources” page under the “Vascular Surgery” tab.

We are grateful to have the American Heart Association as part of our network in reducing serious complications and improving quality of life for people living with PAD.
