We are excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity to support the professional development of women in vascular surgery within our consortium. In partnership with the International Society for Women Vascular Surgeons (ISWVS), BMC2 is offering two scholarships for trainees (fellows or residents) to attend the Women’s Vascular Summit in Chicago May 2 - 3, 2025.
ISWVS is a newly formed organization dedicated to improving health care access, innovating vascular solutions for women and minority populations, and supporting women vascular surgeons and aspiring professionals.
The scholarships will cover:
-
Full conference registration, including meals
-
Two nights of hotel accommodations
-
All travel expenses
We are happy to offer this opportunity and help foster access to valuable educational and networking opportunities for women in vascular surgery. Diverse perspectives and experiences strengthen our ability to provide excellence in patient care.
We encourage consortium members to share this opportunity with the fellows and residents at your sites. You can download a flier to use when spreading the word. The application period is open now and will close March 7, 2025.
Apply via this Qualtrics form.
If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact BMC2’s Project Manager, Mary Casey at marycol@umich.edu.
Thank you for your continued efforts in fostering growth and inclusivity in our field. We look forward to continuing our dedication to continuously improving quality of care and outcomes for cardiovascular patients across Michigan.
